OUR CHURCH LEADERS

SIAN ROUS

  • I have served within our ‘Lifelink’ network for over 35 years, particularly enjoying pioneering new churches. I have also worked as a health visitor for many years – and had a few other jobs along the way! I joined New Life church in 2016 and now serve on a full-time basis in leading us.

I am passionate to see God’s church become all that he wants us to be, a flourishing community of worshipers with a heart and reach well beyond ourselves.

I have three fabulous children (and spouses) and five grandchildren.

JILL BRACE

  • I am a farmer’s daughter from Shropshire and came to know Christ during my student days in Manchester. After 10 years working in London in various roles, I visited a friend in Zaire (now called the Democratic Republic of Congo) and that led to serving God in Africa for over 20 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

One of my legitimate titles is ‘pensioner’ (did I just say that?) but life with God is never dull and I am excited to be serving him now in my local church.

RICHARD HEARING

  • Despite being a part of New Life Dunstable I am actually a Lutonian born and bred. I was raised in a Christian household and my personal walk with God really took off while I was at University. My real passion is for unity and togetherness, particularly for lonely people.

I am married to the lovely Eleanor.

ELEANOR HEARING

  • I was born and bred in Luton and, along with my husband Richard, joined New Life Dunstable in July 2021.

Outside of my role on the church leadership team I work for DNA Leadership Training, a Christian organisation that seeks to partner with churches to develop and disciple those who want their lives to count for Jesus. Supporting them to finding healing and restoration from past challenges and to grow their gifts, passions and dreams for the adventure of following Jesus.

I’m passionate about people and helping them to grow and mature in every area of their lives.

Our wider family

We are part of the Lifelink Global network of churches overseen by Alan Scotland. We really value the mutually supportive relationships within our wider family. We benefit from great teaching and support through visiting ministry, training and gatherings. We also engage together in international mission with a far reach across the globe.
